Muscat: The North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command has arrested an Omani citizen wanted by the judiciary for multiple crimes, after he attempted to resist officers with a firearm while trying to escape.
According to the Royal Oman Police, the individual had been evading judicial enforcement orders and was implicated in several criminal offenses. During the arrest operation, he brandished a firearm in an attempt to intimidate officers and flee the scene.
Authorities confirmed that police personnel acted swiftly and decisively, ensuring the suspect was apprehended without further incident. Legal procedures against him are now being completed in coordination with the judicial authorities.
