MUSCAT – The initiative comes in line with the Ministry of Health’s strategy to localise advanced medical technologies and enhance the quality of healthcare services across Oman.
“This achievement, accomplished through the efforts and expertise of purely national competencies, represents a qualitative leap in the diagnosis of prostate tumours,” stated the announcement from the Royal Hospital.

The molecular imaging service utilises the latest nuclear imaging equipment and is supported by advanced systems such as Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
