Muscat: The scholarships, funded by the Swiss government, are open to Omani applicants pursuing advanced academic programs abroad. The initiative excludes bachelor’s and master’s degrees, focusing instead on higher-level academic research and innovation.
The Ministry’s Directorate General of Scholarships confirmed that applications must be submitted online through the designated response code, which provides full details on eligibility, application preparation, and required forms.
The deadline for submission is November 28, 2025, and applicants must ensure their chosen universities are approved by the Ministry and listed on the official website www.moheri.gov.om. Additionally, candidates must enroll in accredited programs only, as executive or professional programs are not eligible. If a program involves multiple universities, each must be recommended by the Ministry.
