MUMBAI : Directed by Mohit Suri and backed by YRF, Saiyaara is off to a stellar start, collecting ₹11.71 crore on Day 7 alone. With this, the film’s total net collection in India has climbed to ₹165.46 crore in just a week since its release on July 18.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Saiyaara had an overall theatre occupancy of 28.54% on Thursday, with peak viewership in the afternoon (33.08%) and evening (32.81%) shows. Although there was a minor dip in footfall, the film continues to maintain its strong grip at the ticket windows.
Globally, Saiyaara has raked in ₹220 crore in its first six days, with ₹183 crore coming from India’s gross collection and ₹37 crore from overseas markets.

The film has performed exceptionally well in major metros such as Delhi NCR and Mumbai, while cities like Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad have shown impressive turnout. Among Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, Jaipur and Lucknow led in attendance.
Saiyaara, a romantic drama exploring themes of love and loss, follows the journey of Krish Kapoor (played by Ahaan Panday), a budding musician, and Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda), a shy writer. The film has resonated strongly with audiences, with viral social media clips showing viewers sobbing and dancing in theatres.
