MUSCAT – The ROP stated that the operation, a joint effort by the Coast Guard Police Command in Dhofar and the General Directorate for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, led to the arrest of three individuals of Yemeni nationality.
Authorities reported that the three individuals had illegally entered Omani territorial waters aboard a fishing boat, attempting to smuggle the large quantity of drugs into the Sultanate.
Legal procedures are being completed against them, the ROP added.
