MUSCAT : Acting on the high directive of His Majesty the Sultan, His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi addressed the global community through a message published on the official platforms of the United Nations. He began by extending the Sultan’s greetings and best wishes to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, commending his leadership and international efforts.
The minister highlighted Oman’s unwavering belief in the role of the United Nations as a cornerstone of international relations—a vital institution for conflict resolution and the advancement of human welfare. He described the UN as a beacon of justice and peace, especially crucial as the world navigates complex and overlapping crises.
HE Sayyid Badr emphasized that this significant anniversary comes at a time of unprecedented global turmoil, and called for renewed international resolve and unity to forge a more stable and secure future.
