ABU DHABI – The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) issued a statement denying the accuracy of claims made by certain local and international media outlets, as well as online platforms.

The ICP clarified that the categories, conditions, and regulations for the Golden Visa programme are explicitly outlined in official laws, legislations, and ministerial decisions. The authority urged interested individuals to seek accurate information directly from its official website or smart application.
The ICP emphasised that all Golden Visa applications are processed exclusively through official UAE government channels. It stressed that no internal or external consultancy firm is authorized to handle the application process.

This denial comes after the Authority observed articles from an overseas consultancy office suggesting that lifetime Golden Visas could be obtained for all categories from outside the UAE, through consulting or commercial entities, under simplified conditions. The ICP firmly stated that these claims lack any legal basis and were made without coordination with the relevant UAE authorities.

The Authority reiterated its commitment to providing a secure and transparent application environment and continuously enhancing its services solely through official digital platforms.

The ICP also announced that legal action will be taken against entities spreading such false information aimed at illicitly collecting money from individuals hoping to live and reside in the UAE.

The Authority urged anyone considering visiting, living, or investing in the UAE to disregard inaccurate rumours and false news designed for quick profit. It advised against paying any fees or submitting personal documents to any party claiming to provide these services.
