WASHINGTON: A physician and U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, Menon was selected as part of NASA’s astronaut class of 2021. Now, he is gearing up to join a future space mission that will take him to the orbiting laboratory, where he will contribute to ongoing scientific research and international cooperation in space.
According to an official statement from NASA, Menon will be serving as a flight engineer and Expedition 75 crew member
This mission (aboard the Roscosmos Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft) marks a significant step in his journey as an astronaut.
