Muscat: In an official statement, FANR emphasized that relevant national authorities are actively monitoring the situation in coordination with international partners, including the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The authority noted that it receives continuous updates through official channels to ensure a prompt and accurate assessment of any developments.

“FANR is well-informed and continuously following up on the situation,” the statement read, underscoring the UAE’s commitment to maintaining nuclear safety and transparency amid heightened regional tensions.

However, FANR confirmed that based on current data and surveillance, there are no direct consequences or threats to the UAE.

The authority also urged the public to rely solely on official information and avoid spreading unverified reports or rumours that could cause unnecessary alarm.
