Muscat : The court imposed a fine of RO 5,000 on the defendant and ordered the payment of all associated legal costs.
The Environment Authority reaffirmed its call for the public to preserve the natural environment and avoid any actions that could threaten local biodiversity. It warned that violators will face strict legal consequences in accordance with existing wildlife protection laws.
