The operation, which marks a significant shift in the ongoing standoff with Iran, was met with high praise from Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the action historic and credited Trump for making a bold and decisive move. “Congratulations, President Trump. Your bold decision to target Iran’s nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history,” Netanyahu said.
Referring to the joint strategic context, Netanyahu added, “In Operation Rising Lion, Israel has done truly amazing things, but in tonight’s action against Iran’s nuclear facilities, America has been truly unsurpassed.”
The strikes come amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, following weeks of warnings from both Washington and Tel Aviv regarding Tehran’s nuclear advancements. While full details of the mission remain classified, sources confirm that the targets included underground enrichment sites believed to be central to Iran’s weapons-grade uranium efforts.
