Saint Petersburg: Led by Her Excellency Ibtisam bint Ahmed Al Farouji, Undersecretary for Investment Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Omani delegation participated in a wide range of high-level business meetings, dialogue sessions, and bilateral engagements with global investment leaders at SPIEF 2024.
This year’s forum brought together nearly 20,000 participants from 140 countries and featured more than 150 events spanning plenary discussions, business networking, and sector-specific panels.
Oman’s presence focused on promoting key sectors such as luxury tourism, logistics, food security, and mining — areas identified as high-potential within the Sultanate’s broader economic diversification goals. A dedicated roundtable hosted by Oman brought together major Russian companies to explore partnership opportunities, highlight the Sultanate’s competitive investment environment, and facilitate direct dialogue between investors and Omani officials.
