TEHRAN: According to Iranian military officials, the attack successfully struck the “core” of the intelligence center, overcoming what they described as “heavy layers of defense”.

Reza Talaei-Nik, spokesperson for Iran’s defense ministry, stated the guided missile penetrated advanced Israeli defense systems and hit its intended target. The centers wereere known as “Aman” and Mossad’s assassination planning center in Tel Aviv.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) confirmed the strike in a statement, calling it “an effective operation, despite the presence of highly advanced defense systems.” The IRGC also claimed that the targeted site was “currently burning,” although no official confirmation has been provided by Israeli authorities.

Footage circulating on social media—geolocated by CNN—appears to show four missiles impacting near interceptor projectiles and what is believed to be a military installation in central Israel. The videos have not yet been independently verified by Israeli officials.

An Israeli military official acknowledged that several incoming Iranian missiles have struck “both civilian and military targets” since the start of the latest operation, without specifying the damage or casualties involved.
