TEHRAN : In a move reflecting heightened tensions in the region, the Israeli occupation army has declared an indefinite closure on Palestinian cities across the West Bank. The decision, announced on Friday, restricts movement in and out of multiple areas until further notice.
Officials say the closure is a “security measure” in response to recent incidents, though no specific timeline has been given for lifting the restrictions. The move is expected to impact thousands of Palestinians, affecting daily life, travel, and access to services.
Human rights groups have voiced concern over the humanitarian consequences of the lockdown, warning it may further inflame an already volatile situation.
