AHEMADBAD : Flight 6E-318, operated by IndiGo and carrying 179 passengers, took off from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport at 1:49 PM.

However, shortly after take-off, the aircraft was instructed to turn back due to the temporary closure of Ahmedabad airport caused by a catastrophic Air India plane crash earlier in the day.

According to an official spokesperson from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) in Kolkata, the IndiGo flight had departed from stand number 53 before being diverted mid-flight. The aircraft safely returned to Kolkata airport and landed at approximately 2:52 PM.
