Muscat: According to the alert issued by the CAA, thunderstorm clouds are expected to form between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM on Saturday. Affected areas include the mountainous regions of Musandam, Muscat, North and South Al Batinah, North and South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah, and Al Buraimi.
The rains are predicted to range between 15 to 45 mm in intensity, raising the potential for adverse weather conditions including strong downdraft winds (20–45 knots), flash floods in wadis, poor horizontal visibility, and hail.
