Dh101 million debt wiped clean for 303 citizens ahead of Eid Al Adha by Dubai Crown Prince

In a major relief move coinciding with Eid Al Adha, 303 Emirati citizens have been exempted from repaying a combined mortgage debt of Dh101 million.

DUBAI : Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has ordered the exemption of mortgage debts for 303 citizens. This decision aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.

The announcement was made by the Dubai Media Office via social media on Wednesday, just days before Eid Al Adha. The total value of the waived debts amounts to Dh101 million.
