MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a Royal Decree appointing Majlis Al Shura member Sulayem bin Ali Al Hikmani as the head of Oman’s Consumer Protection Authority.
Al Hikmani chaired the Economic and Financial Committee at the Shura Council during the current period. Al Hikmani won the Shura election from the Wilayat of Mahout in Al Wusta Governorate.
Meanwhile, His Majesty also ordered to change the name of Public Authority for Consumer Protection to Consumer Protection Authority.
