MUSCAT: An Omani citizen was arrested after a video surfaced on social media showing him setting off fireworks at an event, obstructing traffic and endangering public safety in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said it arrested the individual and referred him to the authorities. “Legal proceedings are currently underway,” the statement added.
