KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior confirmed that the ban will apply across all areas of the country and is part of broader seasonal efforts to mitigate heat-related risks, particularly for outdoor laborers. The daily restriction targets the peak heat hours when temperatures in the Gulf can soar well above 50°C.

In parallel, the Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) had earlier implemented a similar summer-long ban on all outdoor work during the same hours. The directive, aimed primarily at protecting the large expatriate workforce in the country, includes unannounced inspections to ensure adherence.

Employers found in violation of the order will first receive a warning and a 24-hour grace period. Repeated non-compliance, however, could lead to the suspension of company records and financial penalties.
