GENEVA – This came during a high-level meeting between the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation, led by His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the WHO.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 78th World Health Assembly currently being held in Geneva.
His Excellency the Minister of Health discussed with the Director-General of WHO some proposals to facilitate the organisation’s mission in the Sultanate of Oman, as well as at the regional level, by utilising existing national expertise and specialised centres and institutions.
