The UN Secretary-General António Guterres, expressed profound appreciation for the pivotal role played by His Majesty and his government in advancing peace efforts, de-escalating tensions, and fostering stability in the region.
The Secretary-General commended Oman’s dedicated diplomacy, which contributed to restoring maritime navigation in the Red Sea and brokering a cessation of hostilities between the United States and Yemen’s authorities in Sana’a.
