MUSCAT: Oman welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan after days of deadly attacks, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Saturday.
The Ministry highlighted the importance of this step in “calming tensions and enhancing regional security and stability.”
The Ministry expressed hope that this agreement will mark the beginning of a constructive dialogue between the two sides, leading to the settlement of disputes through peaceful means, serving the interests of both peoples and supporting efforts for peace and sustainable development.
