Muscat – According to the authority, the business was shut down after failing to cooperate in resolving numerous complaints, showing a lack of transparency, and delaying agreed-upon services. Customers reported that the establishment consistently failed to deliver vehicle repair work within the promised timeframes and under the agreed terms, despite multiple attempts by the authority to intervene.
The closure comes under a temporary judicial order, after the company was found to be in violation of Article 23 of the Consumer Protection Law. This article mandates that suppliers must provide services in a proper and timely manner and are obligated to either correct substandard work, offer a refund, or provide compensation if the service is not delivered as promised.
Due to the establishment’s lack of response to the authority and the ongoing complaints against it, the authority took legal action and contacted the public prosecution, which subsequently issued a decision to temporarily close the establishment and suspend its operations until the pending legal cases are resolved.
