Muscat: The “My Life Tool” group, the first of its kind in Oman, has emerged as a remarkable platform for artists with disabilities to showcase their artistic talents and inspire audiences. With participation in exhibitions at prestigious venues such as Seef Mall, the Royal Opera House Muscat, and Al Mouj Muscat, these artists are proving that disability is not a limitation but a driving force behind their expressive brilliance.

Each canvas tells a story that goes beyond aesthetics, delivering a human message that resonates deeply with viewers. Among the standout voices is painter Afrah bint Khalfan Al Naabiya, who describes the group as a moral and professional support system. “Belonging to ‘My Tools, My Life’ represents for me a supportive community and a space for expression,” she said, adding that it has helped her grow in confidence and refine her skills.

Equally compelling is the story of deaf artist Hassan Bin Issa Al Raisi, who learned advanced color blending techniques in the United States. “Drawing is my way of expressing feelings and challenges,” he shared, underlining how art bridges his inner world with the community.

Another group member, Munther bin Khamis Al Rahbi, also deaf, discovered his passion for painting as a child. Through local and international training, he has found in art a powerful tool for self-expression and connection.
