Jakarta – This victory marks the team’s first-ever AHF Cup title, and it also secures their qualification for the Asian Cup finals, set to take place in India this August.

The final match was packed with excitement and high-level competition. Chinese Taipei took an early lead in the fourth minute through Wei Cheng-Zi, who capitalised on an organized attack to surprise Oman’s defence. However, Oman quickly regrouped and responded. In the 12th minute, Rashad Al Fazari scored a crucial equaliser from a penalty corner, bringing the score to 1-1 by the end of the first quarter.
As the match progressed, Oman began to dominate possession. In the 22nd minute, Shafi Al Shatari put Oman ahead with a clinical finish, and just five minutes later, Elias Al Noufli extended the lead to 3-1 after a precise assist in the opponent’s circle. However, Chinese Taipei mounted a comeback with a goal in the 29th minute by Tsung-Yu Shih, narrowing Oman’s lead to 3-2 as the second quarter ended.

In the third quarter, Chinese Taipei continued to pressure Oman’s defence and equalised again in the 43rd minute with a goal from Huang Lin Yu following a swift counterattack. Despite the setback, Ayman Madit gave Oman the lead once more with a decisive goal in the 45th minute, making the score 4-3.
In the final quarter, Oman displayed exceptional focus and resilience, with their defence standing firm against repeated attacks from Chinese Taipei. The goalkeeper made crucial saves, and Oman held on to secure the victory.

In the third-place match, Bangladesh triumphed over Kazakhstan, winning 3-0 to claim third place in the tournament.
