RIYADH: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Referees Committee has officially appointed Mohammed Ahmed Al Shammari as the main referee for the highly anticipated AFC U-17 Championship final. He will be supported by Youssef Arif Al Shammari, who will serve as the first assistant referee. The match is scheduled for 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 20, at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.

The championship also serves as a qualification pathway to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup, set to be hosted by Qatar. The teams that reach the quarter-finals of this tournament will join Qatar in representing Asia in the 48-team global finals.
