Muscat – The two riders qualified for the World Endurance Cup Championship after completing the first day of the Saumur Race in France, which was organised by the International Equestrian Federation, over a distance of 160 km.
86 male and female riders from various countries participated in the Saumur race, which included five stages, the distance of the first and the second stage was 40 km, respectively; the third stage was 32 km, the fourth stage was 26 km and the distance of the fifth stage was 22 km.
It is noteworthy that the second day of the Saumur Endurance Race extended over a distance of 102 km, and witnessed the Royal Cavalry winning first place through jockey Faisal bin Ibrahim Al Farsi on the horse Kara.
