Muscat – The three-day event brings together local and international service providers, government agencies, and private sector representatives involved in Hajj and Umrah services.

Inaugurated under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Al Fadl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, the exhibition aims to strengthen partnerships between all Hajj and Umrah partners in the Sultanate of Oman by bringing them together on a single, realistic platform. The event also provides pilgrims with access to a wide range of options and information to make informed choices ahead of their spiritual journey.

In his opening remarks, His Excellency Ahmed bin Saleh Al Rashidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, emphasised the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to develop a strong and customer-centric system for Hajj and Umrah. He highlighted the success of Oman’s electronic Hajj registration system, which received over 40,000 applications this season, with 14,000 pilgrims selected in accordance with eligibility criteria.

The exhibition features participation from more than 30 public and private entities, including Hajj and Umrah companies from within and outside Oman. It is accompanied by the 11th edition of the ‘Nusuk’ activities, which utilise virtual reality and robotics to provide interactive learning experiences about Hajj rituals.

His Excellency Al Rashidi also pointed out that the Ministry has launched several initiatives for the 1446 AH Hajj season, including the Rabat House Endowments Initiative, providing financial support to over 150 eligible pilgrims – with the total fund exceeding RO 150,000, as well as initiatives to improve the efficiency and quality of Hajj company services. Additionally, mobile carts will be provided for elderly and disabled pilgrims, electronic tracking bracelets will be used for vulnerable individuals, and land port transportation will be streamlined.

The exhibition also includes educational sessions and lectures covering Hajj rituals, spiritual themes, and service overviews. Notable sessions include a training workshop for Hajj companies and an introductory seminar on the services provided to pilgrims.
