The race unfolded with Verstappen leading from start to finish, holding off Norris and Piastri during an intense battle, especially after the pit stops. McLaren’s strategic calls came into question, as Piastri was pitted first to avoid being undercut by Mercedes’ George Russell, leaving Norris unable to make a decisive move.
