Muscat – The ceremony, observed on March 15th every year, was held under the patronage of His Excellency Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office.
Upon the arrival of the Royal Office Minister at the military parade ground at Al Samoud Camp, the Royal Guard of Oman’s Music Band played the Royal anthem. Then, the graduates’ column saluted the chief guest, who inspected the front row.

His Excellency the General then handed over the awards to the top graduates. Following that the graduates proclaimed thrice ‘Long Live His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.
His Excellency Gen. Al Numani also presented medals of excellent service and royal commendation on a number of SSF commissioned and non-commissioned officers, and personnel in recognition of their dedication and sincerity in carrying out their national duty.
The ceremony was attended by ministers, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), heads of military and security units, as well as SSF senior officers and retired senior officers.
At the end of the ceremony, Major General Musallam bin Mohammed Jaaboub, Commander of the Sultan’s Special Force, pinned long service, good conduct and special service medals on a number of SSF commissioned and non-commissioned officers, in appreciation of their efforts and dedication in serving the country
