Muscat – The 29th edition of the Assarain Golf Classic was held at the Ghala Golf Club on 7th & 8th February 2025 with the participation of around 130 golfers.

A delighted Fish shared his thoughts on the win: “The Assarain Golf Classic is a fantastic tournament and it feels great to win a competition of this stature. I would like to thank my playing partners over the last few days. It was a pleasure to be in this event and again I would like to thank the sponsor Assarain Group of Companies.”

Ahmed Al Farsi, General Manager of Ghala Golf Club, who managed the event, remarked on the success of the tournament: “The atmosphere was electric from the first day. I was truly amazed by the participation and overall feel of the 2025 Assarain Golf Classic. We were oversubscribed and had to have a cut off for players as we unfortunately could not fit all of them in, but overall, it was a tremendous occasion.”
His Highness Sayyid Azzan Bin Qais Al Said graced the event as the guest of honour, with the closing ceremony attended by several dignitaries. The Assarain Classic concluded with its tradition of raffling off a luxury Hublot watch, which was won by Mubarak Al Hassani.

Expressing his satisfaction with the event, Ibrahim Al Wahaibi, Director of Assarain Group of Companies, said, “I would like to congratulate all the winners in the respective categories and would like to thank all the participants. With the success of the 2025 event, we are committed to making the Assarain Golf Classic Tournament bigger and better in the coming years while maintaining our strong professional standards of hosting one of the oldest golf tournaments in the Sultanate.”
