MUSCAT: Dr. Mohammed Al Barwani, the founder and Chairman of MB Holding has been appointed as the new chairman of national airline Oman Air.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Oman Investment Authority (OIA) said it has restructured the board of directors of 15 state-owned companies that also include Oman Air.
Al Barwani who has held several key positions founded MB Holding in 1982 to provide oilfield services. Al Barwani also owns Dutch yacht builder Oceanco.
