Muscat: The ten-day tournament will run until January 20 at the Seeb Bowling Centre, bringing together top players from Oman and across the globe.

Ayman Al-Jahdhami, head of the organizing committee, highlighted the extensive preparations during a press conference. “Preparations began early for this tournament, and registration will open on the first day of the tournament on the 10th of this month, and participation is allowed until the 19th in the trials round, as the tournament aims to motivate local players with the presence of players from different countries of the world,” he stated. The championship aims to foster local talent while offering players an international stage.

The tournament adopts a multi-stage qualifying system. In the first phase, participants will compete in trials until January 19, after which 32 players will be classified. The top two scorers will advance to first and second positions, with the two highest-ranking Omani players securing third and fourth spots. The remaining 28 players will engage in six rounds of qualifiers to determine the 12 contenders for the third stage.
