MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of the Arab Esports Federation, appointed Oman’s Saba Al Busaidi, as the Chairperson of Women and Equality Committee.
The committee was announced for the first time and aims primarily to promote gender equality and inclusiveness in the electronic sports community, by developing policies and initiatives that support and empower women in the field of electronic sports.
Saba is currently the Chairperson of the Omani Committee for Games and Electronic Sports. Her nomination comes as a result of the experience and qualifications she possessed, which enable her to empower Arab women, support them to excel and lead, and enhance their presence and competition in various regional and international championships.
