Muscat: Sultan Qaboos University marked a significant milestone as 1,613 male and female students graduated in the first ceremony of the 35th batch from the university’s scientific colleges. The graduates hailed from Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science, Nursing, and Agricultural and Marine Sciences, representing the future of Oman’s academic and professional landscape.
Dr. Rashid bin Khalfan Al Abri, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, congratulated the graduating doctors and nurses on this great achievement, stressing that the responsibility borne by graduates in the field of healthcare is great and that this moment is not only the culmination of your efforts but also a pledge to serve humanity with all sincerity and honesty.
The event, which took place on Sunday, was the first of two graduation ceremonies for the 35th batch, and the second session will be held on Wednesday.
