Muscat: Oman Sail has officially announced the launch of the second edition of its Sail Free sailing program, supported by BP Oman. The initiative, which targets young individuals with motor disabilities, is set to offer an exceptional opportunity for participants from Muscat, North, and South Al Batinah governorates.

The Sail Free program’s main goal is to empower people with mobility disabilities by introducing them to the exciting sport of sailing. Through this initiative, Oman Sail aims to establish a national team that will represent Oman in international sailing competitions.

Set to take place in 2025, the program will involve 200 participants, with 20 of them forming the under-18 youth team. The program will feature sailing on RS Venture and Hansa boats.
