Over 150 camels compete in Oman’s Ardha Race

Muscat: Participants competed in the Ardha race, a revered tradition that embodies the essence of Omani customs and heritage. In addition to the race, the event featured captivating cultural performances, including the “Razfa” and “Al Aazi” arts, alongside mesmerizing displays of camel running techniques.

The Camel Ardha race is considered a symbol of Al Buraimi’s deep-rooted traditions and is celebrated for preserving Oman’s cultural legacy. The event was sponsored by His Excellency Humaid bin Juma Al Shamsi, a Member of the Shura Council, representing the Wilayat of Al Buraimi, further cementing the significance of this occasion in promoting the Sultanate’s rich history.
