MUSCAT : The Egyptian Actors Syndicate confirmed his passing, stating that Fahmy died in the early morning hours. Known for his captivating performances, Fahmy starred in a wealth of iconic films and television series, including Emra’a Fi Dami (A Woman in My Blood), Al Awham (Illusions), and Amaleyat Khassa (Special Operation). His extensive filmography spans over 150 titles since the 1970s and showcases his enduring influence and passion for the arts.
Fahmy underwent surgery for a brain tumor in August, but despite medical interventions, his health deteriorated in the following months. Much like his celebrated brother, actor Hussein Fahmy, Mustafa was a revered figure in Egypt’s cultural landscape, celebrated for his talent and dedication to the craft.
As news of his passing spread, celebrities and fans took to social media to honor Fahmy’s significant contributions to the film and television industry. His legacy, marked by his powerful performances and beloved roles, will continue to inspire future artists.
