Muscat – The strategic partnership aims to explore new business opportunities in the logistics sector and enhance supply chains in Central Asia, while strengthening ASYAD Group’s position as one of the world’s leading operators in the logistics sector.
This came during a meeting held in the capital, Tashkent, chaired by H.E. Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Sheikh Nasser bin Sulaiman Al Harthy. Sheikh Nasser bin Sulaiman Al Harthy, Deputy Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority for Operations, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ASYAD Group, in the presence of H.E. Sayyida Wafa bint Jabr bin Nasser Al Busaidiyah, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Uzbekistan, and Eng. Abdulrahman bin Salem Al Hatmi, CEO of ASYAD Group.
The MoU aims to explore promising business opportunities in the logistics sector and enhance supply chains, by leveraging ASYAD’s expertise in managing and operating land ports, railways, warehouses, air freight, last-mile services, and e-commerce solutions. This initiative will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of logistics operations in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
This agreement also reflects ASYAD Group’s vision to expand its role on the international stage as a leading operator of integrated logistics solutions, contributing to enhancing the efficiency of international trade, opening new horizons for business growth, meeting the needs of global markets, and strengthening trade relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Uzbekistan.
