Muscat – This initiative reinforces Madayn’s commitment to enhancing the Sultanate’s industrial sector and fostering private sector participation in economic growth.
Hamood Al Balushi, Assistant Director General of Al Suwaiq Industrial City, announced that Madayn has secured a land plot covering over 10 million square meters for the industrial city. The project aims to attract investments in key sectors, including food industries, mining, pharmaceuticals, and packaging.
Al Balushi further revealed that Madayn has awarded the consultancy services tender for the design and supervision of the city’s development. This process will involve preparing a comprehensive master plan and advancing Phase 1 of the project, which includes the construction of roads, water and sewage networks, lighting, and other essential services.
