Muscat: Abdul Rahman Al Mushaifri opened the scoring for Oman in the 16th minute with a well-taken finish, assisted by a series of impressive passes from his teammates. Mohsen Al Ghassani doubled Oman’s advantage just 14 minutes later with a clever header that caught the Kuwaiti defense off guard.

Throughout the first half, Oman controlled the tempo of the match, dominating possession and creating numerous scoring opportunities. Kuwait struggled to find their rhythm and rarely threatened the Oman goal, with Yousef Al Sulaiman’s long-range effort being their best chance.
