Muscat: The Sultan Qaboos University Earthquake Monitoring Center has reported a minor earthquake in the Arabian Sea.
The tremor, registering a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale, occurred at 06:55 p.m. local time.
According to the monitoring centre, the earthquake’s epicentre was located approximately 292 kilometres southeast of the city of Haima, at a depth of 32 kilometres beneath the sea surface.
