Muscat: Three national teams are leading the charge. The tennis squad, under the guidance of national coach Abdullah Al Yahyaei, features players Hussein Al Lamki and Moneeb Al Lamki.
In the pool, national coach Mohammed bin Suleiman Al Lahori will be steering the swimming team, comprising Mohammed Al Khamisi and Ghaith Al Qasimi. The bowling team, led by national coach Ismail bin Abdulaziz Al Zadjali, includes Omar bin Ahmed Baaboud.
Nabila bint Yaqoub Al Harthy, National Director of Special Olympics Oman, is heading the delegation, with Sheikh Naif Al Shanfari, Vice Chairman of Oman Special Olympics, underscoring the teams’ high level of preparedness. He emphasized their excellent physical fitness and strong morale, highlighting Oman Special Olympics’ commitment to supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities and fostering opportunities for international competition.
