MUSCAT : “The Greatest of All Time” (GOAT) is making a spectacular debut in Oman and the GCC. The 2024 Tamil-language sci-fi action flick, starring the dynamic Vijay in dual roles, is setting the box office on fire with over 50 showings in Vox Cinemas and more than 30 at Cinepolis on its opening day alone.
Oman’s film enthusiasts are in for a treat as “GOAT,” directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment, takes center stage in 15 cinemas across the Sultanate. With a total of 168 cinemas in the GCC region featuring the film, the excitement is palpable.
The film, which has already raked in a staggering Rs 425 crore in pre-release revenue, promises a thrilling experience. With a budget of approximately Rs 375 crore, “GOAT” is set to be one of Vijay’s most high-profile projects before his anticipated political career. The movie follows Gandhi, a former leader of a special anti-terrorist squad, who reunites with his team to tackle unresolved issues from their past actions.
