Muscat – “Educating and guiding school students is everyone’s responsibility,” states the ROP guideline, highlighting the importance of safe behaviour while travelling by school bus.
Below are the guidelines to follow:
• Do not approach the bus when it is moving.
• Commit to sitting in the seat while the bus is moving.
• Pay attention when getting on and off the bus and adhere to sitting in the seat.
• Pay attention when crossing the road.
• Do not rush when informing parents if the bus driver arrives.
• Inform parents if the driver is reckless or uses the phone while driving.
By following these guidelines, children can help ensure their own safety and contribute to a safer environment for all road users.
