Muscat – As per the latest update, the storm’s center is located approximately 220 kilometers away from the coast of the Sultanate of Oman (Ras Al Hadd), and surface wind speeds around the center are ranging from 33 to 28 knots.

Meteorologists anticipate the storm to further weaken to a tropical depression within the next 12 hours.
However, due to the storm’s proximity, the Oman Meteorology Department has issued a high sea wave alert, warning of waves ranging in height from 3 to 5 meters. Seawater is also expected to extend over low-lying coastal areas and creeks during the next two days.
