MUSCAT : Under the directives of the Minister of Health, the new initiatives are aimed at enhancing the efficiency of services provided to citizens of all age groups.
The initiatives include 12,000 MRI scans, 1,000 tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy operations, 1,500 knee joint replacement surgeries for young patients and activation of evening clinics.
This plan will be implemented through eight new health initiatives at Khoula and Al Nahda Hospitals, specifically designed to address current challenges and reduce waiting lists for these critical services. The move marks a significant effort to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare for children.
