MUSCAT: A total of 811,679 students will start their new academic year (2024-2025), as Omani schools across the country will begin classes on Sunday, September 1.
According to the Ministry of Education, 409,122 male students and 402,557 female students across the governorates will start the classes on Sunday. The new academic year will have over 60,000 teachers in government schools.
The Ministry of Education has also opened 16 new school buildings, and has initiated construction on an additional 15 buildings, while plans are under way for another 20 schools.
