MUSCAT : Currently dazzling fans at Al-Nassr, Ronaldo hinted that his storied career might culminate in Saudi Arabia. “I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire at Al Nassr,” Ronaldo told Portuguese TV channel NOW. “I’m very happy at this club and in this country. I love playing in Saudi Arabia, and I want to continue.”

The 39-year-old’s career highlights include a monumental stint at Real Madrid, where he scored 450 goals in 438 games, cementing his place as one of football’s greatest ever players. Additionally, he holds the record as the all-time leading international goal scorer.

As he approaches the twilight of his career, Ronaldo has clarified that he is focused on helping the national team in upcoming matches, including the Nations League. He is adamant that his exit from international football will not be pre-announced but rather a “well-thought-out” decision made at the moment.

Ronaldo also quashed speculation about a potential transition into coaching, stating, “In my mind, at the moment, it is not about being a first team coach or a coach of any team. I see myself doing other things outside of football. Only God knows what the future holds.”
